Jeff Magoon

Jeff Magoon

Chairman / President

Jeff is president and CEO of Magoon Group, an insurance and business growth consulting agency. In 2022, Jeff identified a gap in the commodity-based insurance agency model that focused solely on closing contracts rather than serving clients to grow their businesses. With more than 25 years of expertise in insurance, restoration, and IoT technology — coupled with a professional background leading both start up and global multibillion-dollar companies in sales, marketing, product development, and risk management — Jeff saw an opportunity to bring more value to clients, so he created a better agency, the Magoon Group.

Seen as both a national insurance expert and visionary, Jeff’s 360-degree view of the insurance industry gained through working with more than 90% of the insurance agencies in the industry gives him a unique perspective on risk management and technology-based solutions. Combining this industry expertise with value-added business consulting know-how, the Magoon Group takes clients to a higher level of performance. His primary focus has been related to finance transformation, operations, process improvement, sales and marketing, and digital innovation.

As a servant-leader, Jeff also has a reputation for leading teams to exceed client expectations. He believes that successful companies begin with taking care of the employee and then aligning employees with a common vision. That fundamental philosophy leads to elevating businesses and satisfying shareholders.

In Jeff's spare time, he likes to leverage his business experiences to help non-profit organizations in his community and throughout the state of Colorado. Jeff also likes spending as much time with his family as possible, creating new memories.

Andy's journey to becoming an Edward Jones financial advisor started at a young age. The discipline, devotion and intense focus he provides his clients was crafted on the basketball court. It led Andy to become an Olympian in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games with Nigeria and a 13-year professional basketball career in Europe.

Those competitive attributes allow him to provide "all-star" service to his clients. But the real reason Andy became a financial advisor came from those closest to him. Witnessing the repercussions of acting on emotion during down times in the market amplified his interest in financial literacy. He educated himself and never wanted to see anyone else lose a fortune by acting on emotion. He immediately made it my mission to help as many people as possible along the way.

Acting on emotion is a natural reaction, and that is why it is essential his clients' goals are understood. Once he create that alignment, a comprehensive strategy is put in place, and his office is here to hold you accountable to those goals.

Using an established process, he serves clients in all stages of life. Humanizing investing and providing a disciplined strategy to help you achieve your goals are paramount to his process. This approach can provide an overall better client experience and is deeply satisfying.

Outside the office, Andy enjoys all things CSU sports, golfing and spending time with friends and family. His wife and young daughter enjoy living in Colorado. He has lived in the Denver metropolitan area since 2014.

Andy also enjoys giving back to the community by providing basketball training for young kids and volunteering for numerous organizations. He proudly serve as an associate board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver and the Transformative Justice Project of Colorado.
